Saranam Ayyappa is a devotional song for the Hindu god, Saranam Ayyappa. It is based on the story of the god’s childhood, and his foster mother, a fish, asking him to help her. The child does so, but only after he is offered his mother’s milk.
It is an interesting story, which gives the devotional message that we need to be born again, in order to live a life of peace and happiness.
The lyrics of the song are based on the ancient text, Tamil Gita, which is a devotional text. The word “Gita” means “The Playful One”. The word “Saranam” means “I will take care of you”. The word “Ayyappa” means “I will fulfill your desires”.
